Somewhere along the lines the system has fallen short of what should be going on. it has become one sided on issues of taking care of the child. While if there is a mother out there that wants to abandon her child, the father is looked more so than the mother. There are so many programs out here that helps the mother in any situation that there in. Where is the help for the single fathers out here? There isn't any. Well there one program that I heard of but they go off your income and that is Fathers Support. The lonesome program is there to help fathers in need of a job and help them catch up on back child support. They don't give you money, they help men find jobs and if they stay on for a certain amount of time they give them a a check with x dollars to help them out a little more. But this just one program compared to the many programs for woman. They can get W.I.C. They have Pell Grants for single mothers. They even help single moms get houses. But the main help comes in for CHILD SUPPORT. This system has went from helping single parents to just helping single moms.
Now with these programs comes a heavy price on the men. The men can buy everything for there children that they need. We as men can provide all the means for our child but once the mother asks for any assistance, that's when that silent killer kicks in. They want the mother to put the father on child support. the workers are like hawks when it comes to this. some of them slide the mothers those papers without even telling them what it is. That's why you always read before you sign. Its like there punishing the father for not marrying the woman that they had a baby by. But why? What did we do to deserve this? We buy everything for our child. We come spend time with our children but still they want to dip into our funds and take out what they think we should pay. Something has got to change. Its not but as a man I can only hope.
Again the child support system was made to help single parents that are left because the other parent refuses to help with anything. So why can a woman just go down to D.F.S. (Division of Family Service) and just say that the father isn't doing anything for them and they hope right on it. If its the other way around they give you more papers than the woman and you have to show proof of the woman not doing anything. This is ridiculous. Men should have the same right but the system is made to help the woman. I really don't have a problem with it being made to help the woman. I just think it should be a little more investigating before they just determine that the father needs to be on CS. Men around the world has been taking there on life because they don't want to pay this. There's even been a case were a man killed a case worker, the mother of his child and then himself because he was getting screwed over by the system. Its time to stop the madness on this. People can't just go down telling lies and not being accountable for the lies they tell. This is a serious issues that should be looked into. There is no reason that anyone should loose a life over a system that is made to help.
Very good points! However, there is no such thing as a PELL grant for single mothers & a single father can still apply for WIC for the child if he has full custody. They can also apply for housing assistance as long as they meet the income requirements.

DeleteI think its wrong.. The idea and freedom women have to go "run tell whatever" the fuck they want to is way to much. Case workers don't give a fuck about facts and the system, unless ur a multi millionaire, like in the case of D. Wade and Usher, who has aquired full custody. That's bullshit if u were an average Joe. Me personally, I once was with a woman who I thought was pregnant by me. She didn't work and recieved child support from the father of her other child she previously had. Five hundred a month and was religiously looking for the next court date so she could lie and pled a case about how she needed more which really she jus wanted. The courts knew what she wanted but made short loops for her to jump through to get it. Without even hearing "when's and why's". Just all of a sudden, boom, an extra 100 coming out of your check every week. They think its a game. While mine was pregnant she was the most ignorant person I had ever met. She would say I'm leaving and I'm going to get half your check and "wait til I'm done with you, you won't have a check". She went as far as lying to the courts telling them I hit her so she could file for 250 a week from my check. Why?? Because she could. Even though I payed the rent, bills, and expenses like entertainment for allllll of us, including vacation. She would run back and forth to her moms house, trying her best to do something to hurt me. Wouldn't cook, clean, or let alone pay for her own child. I just continued working.. So she has the baby and since we were, at that time, on good terms. My son was able to have my name. I recorded the birth and cut the cord. The baby was born May 5, 2011. I married the whore May 12. She soon got back to old ways of ruining and breaking shit around the house. Getting in my face yelling hit me hit me. I was bitches, hoes, faggots, and errthng u could name. I was to the point long before this to only fuck her from the back.lol. She couldn't stand me. So I go off to school in Utah for my new job this past Oct. I continued paying for mines and making sure my family was able to see him. All the babies needs were met, but since I divorced her 2months after marriage she really had it out. Keep in mind the babies a Jr. I get a call while in school after fighting and fighting to get my son, that the baby ain't even mine. After almost having my check ripped from me as hard as I worked, after paying for everything from the car she was riding, to the rent I could bearly afford from all the space we needed for kids that was not mines. This is wussup? I stayed away because I was going to kill her, her mom, and probably anyone else that was there including her kids and myself. That was a baddd time. U walk on egg shells because u know that courts will side with the woman automatically. U almost redefine your relationship with not only God but the world as a whole including family as close as Mom. Somethings gotta change. Or we as MEN, should unite. My uncle told me a story. He said there once was a dog. Dog crossed a field. Kept his stroll as he came up to train tracks. He could hear a train coming in distance but kept his stroll. Dog got to tracks, bearly got across but the train cut off about an inch of his tail. Dog stopped liked what the fuck?? Turned his head to bark at the train, train cut his head off. The moral is never loose ur head for a piece of tail.
